CYO DISTRICT AWARDS

Awarded to One Male & One Female CYO Athlete

 Criteria

• Must be an 8th grade student
• Must be either a student at the parish school or a member of the parish
• Must have participated in at least one CYO sport from 6th to 8th grades
• Must exhibit strong leadership and be a team player
• Must show strong academic and disciplinary record in school and the community
• Must exhibit outstanding sportsmanship toward game opponents and officials
• Must demonstrate strong Christian values
• A letter of Support from the students principal and pastor is needed. 

Created to honor an adult volunteer who has dedicated many years of service for the betterment and advancement of the CYO Programs at either the Diocese, District, or Parish Level. 

Awarded each CYO Season to the team (Coaches, Players, Fans) who models outstanding Sportsmanship and upholds the Catholic Values for which CYO Stands for. Teams must be nominated for this award and will be reviewed by the Awards Committee with input from game officials and the Activities Commissioner.  To nominate a team coaches may contact their Athletic Director. Organizations may not nominate their own teams
